They take about 10 minutes to throw together and I make them often for my family &#8211; even though they&#8217;re not off sugar like me. In the video this week, I didn&#8217;t have pear and made them with three mashed bananas instead. You don&#8217;t want to overmix muffins.<\/li><li>Stir in the chopped pear and spoon into muffin cases.<\/li><li>Bake for 10-15 minutes but just keep an eye on them. When you see that the tops are crisp and erupting a little in the centre, this means they are usually done. I like to take mine out earlier rather than later. They will be fragile to eat while hot but once they cool down, they remain moist, whereas if you take them out too late, they are easier to eat hot from the pan but tend to be a little dry.
